Betty Barrow, a lifetime resident of Jefferson, Iowa passed away July 26, 2020, at the Greene County Medical Center. She was 94 years of age.

Betty Mae Davis was born on April 2, 1926, on a farm west of Jefferson as the daughter of Mabel (Pike) Davis and Claude Davis.
Being a lifetime resident of Jefferson, Betty met her husband, Russell Barrow, in Jefferson and they were united in marriage on May 14, 1944. To this blessed union, two daughters were born, Barbara and Janet.
Betty was a member of Royal Neighbors, the United Methodist Church of Jefferson and United Methodist Women. Betty was the coordinator of funeral dinners for the Untied Methodist Church for many years. She was a Red Cross volunteer during her retirement years. Professionally, Betty cleaned houses and was a bookkeeper. She loved her family dearly and always put God, her family and others before herself. She was an accomplished seamstress and cook.
Preceding Betty in death were her husband Russell, her parents, her nine brothers and sisters, and one infant granddaughter.
Survivors include her daughters Barbara Reinholtz of Bentonville, AR, and Janet Smothers of Tuscaloosa, AL; sister-in-law Susie Davis of Glidden; brother-in-law Harold Adams of Elk River, MN; grandchildren Karla Rager of Bentonville and Lucas Jones of Wheaton, IL; great-grandson Russell Rager of Bentonville; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family is assisted by Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home of Jefferson.
